Bradco to operate under Parkland USA, a division of Parkland Corp.
Parkland Fuel Corp. is acquiring Bradco Inc., a distributor of fuels, lubricants, and a diesel fuel, gasoline, motor oil, lubricants and cardlock services company in Northern Arizona.
Parkland recently acquired Rhinehart Oil in the Rockies and MVP in the Dakotas.
Bradco is a preferred provider of petroleum products and services to customers throughout the Southwest, distributing ExxonMobil lubricants and specialty products. Additionally, Bradco distributes cardlock fuels and bulk oils from its warehouses and terminals to locations in Arizona and New Mexico. Bradco has four Pacific Pride cardlock facilities, located in Holbrook, Show Low, Payson and Springerville, Ariz.
“As third generation owners who have been in the fuel business since 1936, it is with pride that we unite with Parkland Fuel Corp. We now have the ability to grow organically with the additional national resources and this will benefit our customers in the regions we serve,” said John Bradley, Bradco president.
Under the terms of the Bradco acquisition agreement, Parkland has agreed to acquire all of the real estate assets used in the operation of Bradco’s business.
“Parkland values Bradco’s credible reputation as a regional leader in fuels and lubricants. Today’s announcement adds another competitive advantage to offering multi-state fuel distribution in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah,” said John Jardine, co-CEO of Rhinehart Oil and leader of the Rockies Regional Operating Center, Parkland USA.
Bradco will operate under Parkland USA, a division of Parkland comprised of several Parkland wholly owned subsidiaries. Parkland USA operates 45 convenience stores, 170 dealers, 300 trucks, and 12 cardlocks with 850 employees.
