Domino C-Stores Adds Frictionless Checkout

Domino C-Stores partners with SKIP to make the checkout experience more convenient for customers.

Domino Food and Fuel Inc. is the latest c-store to get behind frictionless checkout.

Domino Food and Fuel Inc., a subsidiary of Clinton, Okla.-based Elmer Smith Oil Co., is continuing its focus to conduct “Convenience That Cares” by selecting Skip’s Frictionless Checkout product for its 17 Domino C-Store locations.

Since conducting initial meetings at the NACS Show in Las Vegas in October, the Domino Food and Fuel team has been quick to solidify contracts, begin operational onboarding processes and are high in energy to get Skip’s Frictionless Checkout live in their stores by Q1 of 2019.

Skip wholeheartedly believes that 2019 will be the year of Frictionless Checkout. Big box retail companies are already conducting roll outs, such as 7-Eleven’s “Scan & Go” in 14 locations in Dallas, and Target who launched its “Skip-the-Line” service on Black Friday. It is becoming more important for retailers, especially C-Stores, to consider Frictionless Checkout as part of their omnichannel solution for their customers.
