Breakfast and discussion to be held prior to NAFEM show opening.
Emerson is hosting a panel discussion titled “Automating the Commercial Kitchen” during its E360 Breakfast on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, prior to the North American Association of Food Equipment Managers (NAFEM) show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Participants of the panel will include: moderator Paul Hepperla, vice president, solutions integration, foodservice, Emerson; Chuck Guerin, vice president of controls, The Middleby Corp.; Matt Toone, vice president and general manager, Cooper-Atkins; and Jim Kleva, director of equipment engineering, Wendy’s. The participants will provide an informative end user and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) panel discussion filled with key insights into maintenance and service, food quality, labor efficiency, technology and more.
“Connected devices have become a large part of our customers’ operations,” said Paul Carlson, vice president and general manager, cold chain, Emerson. “We want to use this discussion as a way to better understand how to make these connected devices help address customers’ specific needs and convert data into actionable strategies that drive business.”
The impact of the IoT and connected devices is more than prevalent in today’s commercial refrigeration industry. With new technologies materializing on a nearly daily basis, it’s crucial to understand how operators can capitalize on them to streamline and bring consistency to their operations.
Breakfast will be held from 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. with the panel discussion to follow immediately after, running from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to continue the conversation after the breakfast and discussion in Emerson’s booth (4100) at the NAFEM show.
The NAFEM show reveals the inner workings of foodservice success and offers attendees the opportunity to interact with more than 500 of the world’s leading equipment and supplies manufacturers and see the industry’s latest, most exciting innovations.
