Dunn plans to remain on several industry boards and will serve as a consultant to the company.
Swisher International announced the retirement of Bill Dunn, Vice President of Industry Relations.
Dunn has been in the CPG industry for more than 45 years and has held several positions of increasing responsibility spanning his 37-year career at Swisher.
“I am proud of my many accomplishments and, in particular, the work I’ve done supporting industry issues, said Dunn. “I can proudly say that many of the people I have worked with both inside and outside of Swisher have become friends, and today, that’s more important than the work itself.”
Although he is officially retiring, Dunn plans to remain on several industry boards and will serve as a consultant to the company going forward.
“Bill is a well-respected legend in the tobacco industry and has always been a steadfast, results-driven leader. He has cultivated incredible relationships over the years that have certainly served Swisher and the industry well. By staying on as a consultant for Swisher, we can tap into Bill’s expertise and knowledge anytime,” said Swisher International President John Miller. “Bill’s experience and industry knowledge will continue to be integral to Swisher International’s continued growth and success.”
Jacksonville, Florida-based Swisher International has manufactured quality tobacco products since 1861. The company ships over two billion cigars a year to more than 70 countries.
