Core-Mark Holding Company Inc. has signed a new five-year supply agreement with TravelCenters of America LLC, the largest publicly traded operator/franchisor of full-service travel centers in the United States.
TravelCenters, based in Westlake, Ohio, operates convenience retail stores under the TA, Petro Stopping Centers and TA Express brands. Under the agreement, Core-Mark will provide broad food service offerings to more than 320 of TravelCenters’ corporate-owned travel centers, fuel stores and convenience stores in 42 states across the nation.
“TravelCenters operates premier convenience retail brands familiar to everyone traveling on our nation’s highways, and we’re proud to count them among our valued retail partners,” said Bill Stein, senior vice president of enterprise growth for Core-Mark. Stein called the deal a testament to his company’s strong national fulfillment network and focus on innovative offerings.
Core-Mark, founded in 1888, is one of North America’s largest marketers of fresh and broad-line supply solutions to the convenience retail industry serving more than 43,000 customer locations in the U.S. and Canada through 32 distribution centers.
