Circle K has partnered with DigitalMint, a cryptocurrency provider, adding 20 Bitcoin ATMs in Arizona and Nevada as part of an exclusive pilot program.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with a respected organization like Circle K,” said DigitalMint President and Co-Founder Marc Grens. “This partnership opens the door for massive expansion of Bitcoin access to new markets around the globe.”
Similar to a traditional ATM, Bitcoin ATMs enable consumers to exchange U.S. dollars for Bitcoin. Customers can buy up to $20,000 in Bitcoin per day.
The newly launched Arizona ATMs are located in Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Tucson, Flagstaff, Surprise, Maricopa and Nevada ATMs in Las Vegas.
With this Circle K partnership, DigitalMint becomes the largest Bitcoin ATM and point-of-sale operator in the U.S. The company currently has over 250 locations in 25 states.
“We are very happy to add DigitalMint as a partner and we look forward to working with their team,” said Joel Konicke, Category Manager, Circle K Stores Inc. “Partnering with DigitalMint allows us to provide our customers with seamless access to Bitcoin, at a very reasonable price.”
