University of Arkansas-Little Rock Alumni Association has awarded the Big Red Stores/Family Market Scholarship to Ariel Lackey for the current fall 2019-spring 2020 academic year. Lackey graduated with her bachelor’s degree and is now a graduate student at the university.
While earning her degree, Lackey worked with Big Red Stores in Beebe, Arkansas. Currently, she is pursuing her master’s degree to become a mental health counselor.
“Big Red helped me with a job, my goals with college and my future,” said Lackey. “I am so thankful that I can call everyone at Big Red family.”
Lackey’s store manager had praise for Ariel for her work as a team member at Big Red.
“Ariel is very outgoing and always has an amazing attitude,” said her manager, Amber. “She is always great with customers and fellow team members and always goes out of her way to make sure things were done the right way.”
Owners David and Doug Hendrix are proud of Big Red Store Team Members and their dedication to better themselves through education. They are both excited about continuing the scholarship program with UA-Little Rock Alumni Association
