Circle K is adding the GetUpside platform to to over 4,000 locations in the U.S. this month, increasing the partnership between GetUpside and Circle K to 36 states across the country.
GetUpside cash-back offers are delivered through a mobile app, incentivizing new customers to visit a station, and existing customers to visit more often.
Retailers just have to do is share information they already have — anonymized transaction logs — and then continue business as usual. GetUpside does the rest.
GetUpside is currently available at more than 12,000 locations in 41 states throughout the U.S, serving metro areas including New York, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Austin, Houston and Chicago.
GetUpside has provided more than $25 million in increased profit and cash back to merchants and consumers.
“GetUpside is increasing fuel stations’ net profitability on each transaction by bringing them profit from purchases they would not have seen without our platform,” said GetUpside Co-Founder and CEO Alex Kinnier. “We give businesses a better idea of who is walking into their stores to help them personalize their customers’ experiences, just like an online retailer would. We are excited to work with Circle K as it expands its partnership nationally with GetUpside.”
To claim a GetUpside offer, users open the mobile app, select a station in their area, purchase fuel with a credit or debit card, and upload a photo of their receipt to the GetUpside app. Consumers see cash back in their user accounts, and merchants see the incremental profit made from every transaction on their personal GetUpside dashboard.
Founded in 1951 in El Paso, Texas, Circle K operates 16,000 stores in 25 countries. The company was acquired by Alimentation Couche-Tard in 2003.
