LSI Industries Inc. announced that it managed, produced and implemented the interior graphics and signage program at a new, 96,000-square-foot H-E-B Grocery Co. Houston location.
H-E-B operates 400 stores in Texas and Mexico and has annual sales of $26 billion.
The recent grand opening of this H-E-B location is the first in a rollout of “new urban” store designs that H-E-B is initiating.
“We appreciate LSI’s commitment to excellence all the way through the program and look forward to another great project in the future,” said Enrique Sapien, H-E-B Construction Project Leader.
The Houston H-E-B location features dining inside and out, parking above the store (with an automated grocery conveyor system), a roastery coffee kitchen, a wine-and beer-tasting counter, pharmacy, and a large salad bar with 60+ options.
For each of these specialty areas, LSI was challenged with creating graphics and signage to help create distinctive atmospheres reminiscent of individual shops.
“For LSI Industries to be selected as H-E-B’s chosen vendor at its Houston location called upon a wide range of LSI’s expertise in signage and graphic production,” said LSI Industries’ Andy Harey, project lead. “This H-E-B engagement allowed LSI to truly showcase our state-of-the-art capabilities, allowing H-E-B’s unique character to come forth, while creating a delightful customer shopping experience,” adds Mario Macioce, LSI Director, Grocery & Pharmacy.
