Amazon announced that Prime members now receive free grocery delivery from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market.
The offer includes meat, seafood, produce, snacks and household essentials, with options for one- and two-hour delivery windows.
“Prime members love the convenience of free grocery delivery on Amazon, which is why we’ve made Amazon Fresh a free benefit of Prime, saving customers $14.99 per month,” said Stephenie Landry, VP of Grocery Delivery. “Grocery delivery is one of the fastest-growing businesses at Amazon, and we think this will be one of the most-loved Prime benefits.”
All other Prime members who live in one of the more than 2,000 cities and towns where grocery delivery is available can request an invitation to shop Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market delivery, and Amazon will alert them when they are able to shop.
In addition to giving Prime members free access to unlimited grocery delivery in select areas, Amazon has continued to expand grocery delivery from Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods Market to more cities.
Fresh grocery delivery from Amazon is now available in more than 2,000 cities and towns, and the company will continue to expand its grocery delivery and pickup services to even more cities.
