Pilot Flying J announced the opening of two new Pilot Travel Centers, located in Andrews, Texas, and Midland, Texas.
Both travel centers feature full amenities for area residents and the traveling public, while adding approximately 50 local jobs and other economic benefits to the communities.
The company is donating $2,500 to benefit the Andrews Independent School District’s technology program.

Th Andrews, Texas, Pilot Travel Center offers many amenities, including:
- 12 gasoline fueling positions and five diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling
- PJ Fresh pizza and home style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hot and cold grab-and-go offerings prepared on site daily, including salads, sandwiches, fruit cups, burritos and an array of snack items
- Pilot’s Best Gourmet Coffees, including bean-to-cup selections and cold brew
- Dunkin Donuts self-serve
- Five showers
- 28 truck parking spots
- Public laundry
- Public seating area
- Everyday products for quick shopping needs
“We’re committed to making a better day for people living, working and traveling through Andrews county and across the nation,” said Ken Parent, president of Pilot Flying J. “We continue to invest in new locations to bring convenience, quality, great food and amenities to those who are traveling the roadways.”
The Andrews, Texas, facility at 1103 S. Main Street will be Pilot Flying J’s 90th location in Texas, including travel centers, dealers and fueling locations, and it is expected to contribute $2.4 million annually in state and local tax revenues.
Guests can plan their stops and save money at Pilot and Flying J locations with the Pilot Flying J app, including a 3-cent gas or auto diesel discount and exclusive offers on food and beverages.
The Pilot Travel Center in Midland, Texas, features full amenities, including five showers. There will be 71 car and 23 trucking parking places.
The new facility is located at 2810 Rankin Hwy., and it is expected to contribute close to $3 million annually in state and local tax revenues.
Knoxville, Tenn.-based Pilot Flying J has more than 750 retail locations in 44 states, a nationwide network of 32 Truck Care service centers with roadside assistance, 44 Goodyear Commercial Tire and Service Centers and 34 Boss Shops.
The Pilot Flying J network provides drivers with access to more than 72,000 parking spaces for trucks with Prime Parking at more than 400 locations, 5,200 deluxe showers and more than 6,200 diesel lanes with 5,200 offering Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at the pump.
