Milford, Iowa-based Land Mark Products announced the passing of its CEO and President, Jason Farrell. He was 48.
Jason was deeply loved by his family, friends and colleagues. Words cannot express the significant level of loss that will be felt by the foodservice industry. With over 30 years of service to Land Mark Products, Jason led the company with great dedication and skill. He was extraordinarily smart and built one of the premier foodservice supplier companies in the convenience store industry.
A resident of Milford, Iowa, Jason mostly recently helped lead the merger of Land Mark Products and Orion Food Systems, to build one of the most comprehensive foodservice solutions in the country, Orion Land Mark.
“With his remarkable knowledge of food, convenience retailing business and distribution, he was simply invaluable to the industry,” said Keith Kinsey, CEO of Orion Food Systems. “Jason’s exceptional work ethic, passionate and long-term commitment to his clients and his desire to always do the right thing was integral to both his personal and professional life. He truly was one of a kind and his presence and friendship will be greatly missed.”
Land Mark Products, and the entire industry, extends its most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Jason’s family.
Recognizing the depth and breadth of Jason’s relationships to the food industry, there are many who are wondering how to get a specific message to the people — family, friends and colleagues — who were closest to him. Should you find the need, the point of contact for Orion Food Systems is Keith Kinsey, and the point of contact for Land Mark Products is Dana Evaro.
