The 2020 Gulf Coast Food & Fuel Expo will welcome attendees and exhibitors for two days of networking and industry education, on Wednesday and Thursday, March 11-12, at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and Mississippi Coast Coliseum & Convention Center in Biloxi, Miss.
The Gulf Coast Food & Fuel Expo is free and open to all owners or employees of convenience store, truck stop and petroleum marketing/distributing companies. It also holds the distinction of being the only three-state regional show in the South.
Day two, Thursday, features vendor exhibitor booths providing access for petroleum marketers and convenience store retailers in the southeast region to visit with a large group of prospective business suppliers, as well as learn about the latest products and newest industry trends.
The expo floor opens Thursday morning at 9 a.m. at the Convention Center, continuing through the afternoon until 3 p.m. Attendee and exhibitor registration will open at 8 a.m.
The event’s first day, Wednesday, March 11, is filled with educational sessions on topics covering the future of fuels, government policies on fuel and tobacco, and the burgeoning CBD marketplace. Hourlong concurrent sessions begin at 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., followed by a Keynote Session from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Speakers include Fuels Institute Executive Director John Eichberger, Petroleum Marketers Association of America Executive Director Rob Underwood, American Vaping Association President Gregory Conley, agriculture and biotech hemp producer Atalo Holdings Inc. CEO Bill Hilliard and Energy45 Founder Mandy Gunasekara.
Thursday also offers opportunities for brand meetings.
The seminars are followed by an opening reception at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The evening will then be free for attendees to mix, network and enjoy supplier hospitality.
Attendee registration is open Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday morning, registration for attendees and exhibitors opens at 8 a.m.
The event is hosted by the three petroleum and convenience store marketing associations from Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi: Petroleum & Convenience Marketers of Alabama, Louisiana Oil Marketers and Convenience Store Association, and Mississippi Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association.
