Through its global Kellogg’s Better Days purpose platform, Kellogg is helping to deliver critical nourishment to people when they need it most.
As the number of people impacted by COVID-19 continues to grow worldwide, the economic fallout of the pandemic threatens to create a new era of poverty. New research predicts that the number of people facing food insecurity could more than double in the coming months, putting more than half a billion people at risk globally.
To date, Kellogg and its charitable funds have now donated more than $10 million to global COVID-19 hunger relief efforts. Its employees, consumers and customers are generously helping as well.
Kellogg received the following message from one of its charity partners: “Despite the incredible obstacles that life is sending to all of us, it is extremely touching to see how humanity is capable of the best during this crisis.”
Here are other ways Kellogg customers can help:
- Donate to The Global FoodBanking Network. Every $1 donated helps distribute 15 meals to people in food-insecure communities.
- To support a local food bank, visit www.feedingamerica.org for a list of food banks in your area.
- Or, if customers have Kellogg’s Family Rewards points, they can visit the website to learn how to donate them to Feeding America.
