Do you work with bright, up-and-coming young executives or next-generation leaders who are under 40 years old?
In today’s tight labor market and age of digital disruption, convenience store chains need young executive talent who can lead the company into tomorrow. That’s why we’re recognizing young executives who are standing out at their c-store chains for their leadership skills.
“The industry’s young executives and leaders of tomorrow face unique challenges as they grow their businesses in the competitive convenience store market. CSD’s 40 Under 40 is an annual list of the industry’s up-and-coming leaders whose ideas and abilities, either personally or as part of a team, have been responsible for helping to advance their business in a demonstrable way within the last 12 months,” said John Lofstock, executive director of the National Advisory Group (NAG) and editor-in-chief and vice president of content for CStore Decisions. “As we emerge from the pandemic, these individuals and their leadership are even more critical. We are proud to recognize these emerging leaders and grow YEO to serve their needs for industry education and networking.”
Who Is Eligible?
Nominees for the 40 Under 40 must be retailers from a convenience store or petroleum chain only. Nominations are welcome from all corners of the c-store business — executive level, operations, technology, foodservice, human resources — anywhere within a convenience store business that requires leadership. Nominees must be 40 years old or younger through the end of 2021.
While CSD will only recognize retailers in this prestigious 40 Under 40 list, nominations will be accepted from retailers, suppliers and other industry personnel.
The full 40 Under 40 list will be published in CSD’s December issue. Nominations are due by Sept. 20, 2021.
The National Advisory Group’s Young Executives Organization (YEO) was formed specifically to addresses the unique challenges that young executives face today and help the industry’s next-generation leaders identify solutions with others in their age group.
YEO’s mission is to cultivate young talent in the convenience store and petroleum industry through implementation of education and networking. For more on YEO, visit www.nagconvenience.com/yeo-about.
Please nominate your next-generation leader today for this prestigious list.
