711slurpee222-350x1857-Eleven Canada is inviting its customers to chill with a Slurpee, in their bathing suits, this November.

7-Eleven Canada is bringing back summer with a one day national Slurpee Beach Party on Saturday, Nov. 7 (the reverse of 7-Eleven’s 7/11 birthday).

Slurpee fanatics will have the chance to show their commitment to Slurpee, if they are brave enough, to hang-up their winter clothes and get into their bathing suits. If they do, they’ll get a free, medium Slurpee to complete their cool beach experience.

The promotion, run nationally for the first time this year, will be at all 7-Eleven stores from B.C. to Ontario, Canada. Medium Slurpee drinks will be available between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., or while supplies last.

“We think it’s fun to disrupt things once in a while and what better way than with a beach party in winter and on the reverse of our birthday,” said Raj Kapoor, vice president and general manager, 7-Eleven Canada. “We are pretty sure we’ll see a lot of our customers across the country getting into the spirit of Slurpee and braving the cold. It’s going to be quite the occasion, especially if our markets are experiencing some low temperatures.”

In March 2015, 7-Eleven got Slurpee fans to say goodbye to winter by throwing a Slurpee Beach Party for Winnipeggers at all its Winnipeg stores. Despite low temperatures in the city, hundreds of Slurpee Capital of the World residents wore their bathing suits to their local store in order to get a free Slurpee. This promotion was exclusive to Slurpee Canada’s social media followers and saw some unique and fun images of cold, but happy, fans being posted from across the city.

Customers can share their beach day fun on social media by posting a photo of themselves enjoying a Slurpee in their beachwear using @SlurpeeCanada and the hashtag #SlurpeeBeachParty.

7-Eleven and Slurpee fans can scan their free Slurpee with 7Rewards App and get a star towards their seventh cup free.
