Users can now earn points through the app that can be redeemed for gift cards.

Rewards-based mobile ad platform adjoe has announced its first integration with PDI Technologies, which tapped its Arcade solution for GasBuddy’s new non-transactional reward system.

The app engagement solution rewards users for playing mobile games in GasBuddy Games by earning points that can be redeemed for gift cards from popular retailers.

“This integration marks a major milestone for adjoe as we enter the fuel rewards space, highlighting the growing momentum around rewarded gaming as more brands embrace innovative ways to drive loyalty and engagement beyond the pump,” said Michael Corigliano, senior partnerships manager at adjoe. “At a time of rising costs, this integration is perfectly timed to help consumers save money and earn rewards by playing mobile games they already enjoy. We’re honored that GasBuddy chose us to unlock new ways for users to save on gas and earn.”

With North American mobile game downloads projected to exceed 12 billion by 2028, more brands are turning to gamified loyalty programs to improve daily brand engagement, increase customer lifetime value and maximize app revenue. Known for partnering with brands seeking to drive engagement and user value, the integration with PDI marks adjoe’s first foray into the gas rewards programs market.

Arcade, adjoe’s flagship gamified app engagement solution, leverages proprietary AI technology to present users with games that they can download and play in exchange for in-app currency and loyalty points. The company’s AI-driven recommendation engine ensures GasBuddy Games users receive highly personalized mobile game suggestions to increase user enjoyment, engagement frequency and retention. The integration delivers an engaging and rewarding experience for end-users, while enabling game advertisers to connect with a new segment of highly engaged app users via the leading fuel savings program.

“With adjoe, we’re creating an ecosystem that connects retailers, brands and consumers through unique solutions, like GasBuddy Games, that are designed to benefit everyone across the fuel and convenience industry,” said Todd Gulbransen, senior vice president and general manager, consumer programs and marketing at PDI Technologies. “Mobile gaming is a key piece of our strategy to connect meaningful interactions with tangible rewards, driving value for consumers and measurable growth for our partners.”
