With Verge Connect, ALCO customers can select the types of deals and coupons they receive.

Convenience retailer Albemarle Oil Co. (ALCO) has launched a branded smartphone app powered by Verge Connect.

The platform, which comprises a comprehensive set of customizable features including interest-based marketing capabilities, social media, customer feedback management and back-end analytics, is priced at about half of other mobile apps, enabling small and mid-sized retailers to quickly enter and compete in the mobile space.

With Verge Connect, ALCO customers can select the types of deals and coupons they receive, as well as filter by services offered at all 23 store locations across North and South Carolina. The ALCO branded app also features mapping and customer interaction capabilities via social media and direct feedback.
