7-Eleven customers have more time to get free snacks and beverages as birthday giveaway week is extended.
Customers who missed out on 7-Eleven’s free Slurpee day last week are getting a second chance after 7-Eleven’s week-long birthday celebration was interrupted Saturday due to technical difficulties with the company’s phone app, USA Today reported.
During the first phone app giveaway—for a Big Gulp—customers began encountering issues accessing the coupon about halfway through the day and some took to Twitter to voice their complaints.
Due to the technical difficulties, the promotion, which offers coupons for various free snacks and beverages, has been pushed back and extended by three days. It will now resume Tuesday, July 15 and run through Thursday, July 24.
