FuelQuest Inc., an on-demand software and services company for the global downstream energy industry, has entered a multi-year contract with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES).

Under the new agreement, FuelQuest’s Fuel Center, the company’s outsourced fuel management service, will source, monitor, replenish and reconcile retail motor fuel for AAFES’ service locations in North America. FuelQuest’s Fuel Center was selected after a rigorous competitive process.

“FuelQuest is very pleased to partner with AAFES and contribute to delivering competitively low prices to their patrons during these trying economic times,” said Matt Tormollen, president and CEO of FuelQuest.  “This multi-year collaboration is validation of both the value Fuel Center brings its customers and the strength of FuelQuest’s Fuel Management System (FMS) as a technology differentiator for the outsourced service offering.”

Fuel Center reduces fuel related expenditures and ensures security of fuel supply for retail and fleet customers leveraging their team of fuel industry experts and the FMS solution. Fuel Center is supplier-independent and acts as a customer advocate by contracting fuel at the lowest possible cost while ensuring the correct price is paid for both the fuel and its associated delivery costs.
