Atlas to host Chicago-area store grand opening on Earth Day.
Atlas Oil is set to launch its all new convenience store concept—Earth Market—on Earth Day, Monday, April 22, 2013 with a grand opening at its Frankfort Store located at 16 E. Lincoln Hwy. in Frankfort, Ill.
Local influential and company personnel will be on hand for the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The new store format has a unique, branded design that carries through the store and is represented in its branding, signage and even specialty food product labels. Earth Market has also introduced its own coffee brand—Eco-Earth Coffee—with gourmet coffee bar extras for customizing your favorite coffee beverage.
Currently there are five Earth Market stores now open in the Chicago area in Frankfort, Mokena, Hickory Hills, Alsip and Oswego. Each store features a clean layout with both a merchandise area as well as a café style area with comfortable, oversized, lime green leather chairs, TVs, a fireplace and wireless Internet access. The stores appeal to a wide variety of guests for their product offerings as well as the convenient meeting area for friends to gather, students to study, etc.

Earth Market licensing opportunities are available to any qualifying Atlas supplied gas station regardless of fuel brand. “Earth Market represents a dynamic new offering to the convenience store industry,” said Michael Evans, executive vice president of business development at Atlas. “When you come and visit an Earth Market store, you know instantly that this is unlike any other c-store offering in the market. “When you see the Earth Market logo, you can see a brand that truly says ‘quality.’ “
Atlas plans to open multiple Earth Market locations in 2013.
