Panhandlers and loiterers move on as classical music fills the air around store.

A United Dairy Farmers (UDF) convenience store in Columbus, Ohio, found a unique solution to what was a growing problem with loitering outside its location.

UDF began blasting classical music, which can reportedly be heard all the way down the block. The result has been a decrease in loitering outside its doors, according to Shortnews.com.

UDF customer, Allie Beck told Shortnews.com that the people who usually ask for change and the loiterers have been driven away by the classical tunes, and customers prefer the change. “I´d rather listen to the music than have everybody out there,” said Beck.

UDF has nearly 200 stores throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
