Hungry customers find sandwich promotions in honor of Sandwich Day.

Tuesday, Nov. 3 marked National Sandwich Day, and convenience stores and QSRs alike celebrated with promotions and Facebook posts touting the holiday and reminding customers to stop in for a bite.

Among c-stores celebrating the day, Daily’s Convenience Stores posted a promotion on Facebook that involved fan interaction:

“Want to win a coupon for a DASH sandwich and ‪#‎yumbelievable‬ t-shirt? Then post a picture of a DASH sandwich on Tues, Nov 3 for National Sandwich Day!” the company wrote on its Facebook page.

Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppes also posted a Facebook promotion, offering an exclusive $1 off a whole turkey sub coupon via its mobile app.

QuickChek also used the holiday to engage customers through its mobile app: “#‎NationalSandwichDay‬ is a big deal around here! Share Sublovin’ with this 1-day, app-only BOGO on 6”subs. Download the app to get the deal quickchek.com/mobileapps,” the company posted on Facebook.

QSRs got in on the action too.

Subway celebrated the occasion by offering buy-one-get-one free sandwiches when a consumer also purchased a 30-ounce beverage.

Dunkin’ Donuts celebrated the day by introducing a new sandwich to its breakfast sandwich lineup: the new Sweet Black Pepper Bacon Breakfast Sandwich, which is a combination of sweet and savory featuring egg, a slice of American cheese and four strips of bacon coated in a seasoning that includes brown sugar and black pepper, served on a croissant. The Sweet Black Pepper Bacon Breakfast Sandwich is also available as a Wake-Up Wrap, with half an egg, a slice of American cheese and one slice of the special seasoned bacon, served on a 5.5-inch tortilla. Both are available for a limited time at Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide.
