Partners with PriceAdvantage to implement a centralized pricing strategy.
Casey’s General Stores Inc. has selected PriceAdvantage software to help improve overall fuel sales and gross profit dollars. Impact 21, a leading consultancy in the convenience industry, defined the requirements, coordinated the RFP process and analyzed the results that led to the selection of PriceAdvantage.
“PriceAdvantage is an extremely powerful and scalable tool that can just as easily be utilized by a 15- store retailer as large, enterprise organization with thousands of stores,” shared Chip Stadjuhar, president and CEO of Skyline Products. “Our track record shows we can have Casey’s up-and-running very quickly and we are confident that our fuel price management and execution software will help Casey’s reach their fuel sales goals.”
PriceAdvantage will help Casey’s move from a decentralized pricing strategy to a data-driven, centralized strategy that will identify price and volume elasticity to provide greater correlation regarding the impact of prices on fuel demand. The software will provide transparency to the entire Casey’s fuel team—from district managers to corporate fuel pricing analysts—by establishing pricing rules and strategies for specific commodities at each store. Additionally, Casey’s will utilize a mobile app to support streamlined competitor insight and allow district managers to make immediate market adjustments.
“In March, our Value Creation Plan announced that we would implement fuel price optimization with benefits being realized in the fiscal year of 2019,” shared Nathaniel Doddridge, Casey’s director of fuels. “PriceAdvantage has an impeccable track record of rapidly implementing their software and an impressive set of customers who have realized measurable financial benefits from using the software.
We are confident PriceAdvantage will help us increase fuel sales and gross profit dollars.”
