Casey's is bringing forecourt media to its retail media network.

Casey’s partnered with GSTV, a national on-the-go video network engaging and entertaining targeted audiences at scale across tens of thousands of fuel retailers. The goal is to bring the power of forecourt media to the Casey’s Access Retail Media Network.

With rollout beginning this fall, GSTV will provide Casey’s retail media offering, Casey’s Access, with a branded digital video solution across its fuel dispenser media to further enhance its retail media offerings. The partnership leverages GSTV’s industry expertise and experience and will complement and expand Casey’s comprehensive, multipronged retail media portfolio of options for partner brands to engage and connect with customers to increase sales inside the store. Casey’s Access inventory reaches shoppers across owned and operated digital channels, innovative on-premise inventory, and off-site media.

In addition to its core network, GSTV offers mid-sized and large retailers a fully managed service solution to easily deploy a branded media experience that reinforces their values and messaging, provides a differentiated consumer experience, drives in-store sales and foot traffic, and builds customer loyalty. The new solution provides Casey’s and other retailer partners with a fully turnkey and customized option, designed to be an extension of their retail media network.

“Our retail media journey began in 2023 with the launch of Casey’s Access, and we’ve been strategically expanding our ad inventory ever since,” said Justin Coaldrake, senior director of omnichannel guest experience and media at Casey’s. “We’re thrilled to partner with GSTV to unlock a powerful and differentiated advertising channel that’s unique to our industry. With more than 2,900 locations across 19 states, we offer advertisers unmatched scale and access to unique audiences. By combining this new GSTV partnership with our existing in-store offerings, we’ll have over 30,000 digital screens across our ecosystem.”

“We continue to see a massive explosion of retail media, but at the same time, we understand the challenges in navigating the complexity that our fuel and convenience retail partners face in order to truly take advantage of the retail media wave,” said Dan Trotzer, executive VP, industry, GSTV. “As one of the leading retail media networks in the fuel and convenience space, we’re proud to partner with Casey’s to manage and operate their video media solution, which offers a robust, turnkey and easy-to-manage solution to further capitalize on a major retail media opportunity. Furthermore, for suppliers, inclusion of Casey’s in GSTV’s national network will be a welcome addition for brands already advertising with GSTV and seeking to reach this valued audience at scale.”

Designed to be the “easy button” for managed convenience retail media services, GSTV’s solution includes white-labeled video broadcast displayed on forecourt screens customizable to align with and extend a retailer’s brand; premium family-friendly content built to capture customer attention; a dedicated account manager to oversee the complex media management process end-to-end for an effortless, zero-resource solution; access to GSTV’s media sales team to facilitate national brand ads; and access to marketing and creative services though GSTV’s accomplished in-house video production team, IGNITE.
