Energems has been accepted as a member of the Council for Responsible Nutrition.

The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has accepted the dark chocolate energy supplement, Energems, as a new member. This is a major accomplishment for this product, which was just launched earlier in 2015.

“Acceptance into CRN marks a groundbreaking moment in our product’s journey,” said Energems general manager Kristopher Trust. “CRN sets the highest standard of excellence in our industry and only selects a portion of products into their membership. We could not be more proud to be a part of their organization and join the ranks of its members.”

CRN was founded in 1973 and is the leading trade association representing dietary supplement and functional food manufacturers and ingredient suppliers. The association has more than 150 member companies, which largely represent the products marketed by major supermarkets, drug stores and discount chains across the globe. The organization provides its members with expertise and requires them to meet a host of federal and state guidelines, in addition to the CRN Code of Ethics.

This is another accolade under the leadership of industry-veteran Kristopher Trust. In August, Energems was voted Best New Product by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS).

“We look forward to being a member of CRN and providing the kind of energy option that consumers want,” Trust stated.

At only 50 calories per serving, three Energems are equivalent to a large cup of coffee and contain antioxidants naturally found in dark chocolate.
