“This delivery system is uniquely designed to meet the needs and expectations of Circle K’s 24/7, always-connected, on-demand energy customers,” says Circle K spokesperson.

Circle K convenience stores plans to add AeroShot Energy, a new air-based energy product, to 3,100 of its stores starting in October.

Following announcement of the New York Attorney General’s investigation into energy drinks, AeroDesigns is launching a national marketing program highlighting AeroShot Energy as the unique, innovative and healthy alternative to the dizzying array of energy drinks and shots.

“AeroShot Energy offers a quick and convenient way to get your energy with no liquids, no calories and no mystery ingredients,” said Tom Hadfield, CEO of AeroDesigns. “Today we’re kicking off a major national marketing campaign to help spread the word that the energy of the future is here.”

“At Circle K, we were instantly drawn to the true innovation that AeroShot Energy brings to the category. This delivery system is uniquely designed to meet the needs and expectations of Circle K’s 24/7, always-connected, on-demand energy customers,” said Trey Powell, director of national accounts and procurement, at Circle K.

In addition to AeroDesigns’ first national partnership with Circle K, it has also expanded distribution in convenience and drugstores in the New England, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, South and Midwest regions. AeroShot Energy will be available in more than 15,000 locations across the U.S. in Q4 2012.

Invented by Harvard professor, David Edwards, AeroShot Energy is an air-based boost of energy delivering 100mg of caffeine plus B vitamins that starts working right away. Recently, AeroShot Energy was selected as the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) “Best New Product”, announced during the organization’s Diet, Vitamin & Sports Nutrition EPPS in July.
