First 200 customers to use their SmartPay Check-Link mobile app to win $10 in free gas.

Cumberland Farms has announced “Pump My Ride” events at its two Port Orange, Fla. locations.

During the events, the retailer will gift the first 200 SmartPay Check-Link mobile app users with $10 in free gasoline. Current SmartPay members, who have a card but not the app, still have plenty of time to download the app from the App Store or Google Play (it’s easy!) so that they may be eligible for free gas.

All attendees at the event will be able to sample Cumberland Farms menu items, including mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and pizza, as well as specialty coffee drinks and Cumberland Farms’ signature Farmhouse Blend coffee.

The “Pump My Ride” Port Orange events will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 31 and Thursday, Feb. 1 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. on a first come, first served basis. Below are the details for each event:

Time: 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

Thursday, Feb. 1
Store Address: 3567 South Nova Road

SmartPay saves customers 10-cents per gallon on fuel, every day, and is free to join and free to use. In addition, SmartPay mobile app users enjoy a free coffee, fountain drink or bottled water for every 50 gallons of fuel purchased, as well as monthly free product coupons on many popular items. To date, customers have purchased over $2 Billion of fuel using SmartPay and saved over $90 million through the program.

“We are proud to serve our customers in Florida, and their positive feedback and loyalty have far exceeded our expectations,” said Ari Haseotes, CEO of Cumberland Farms. “To date, we have saved our Florida SmartPay users over $6 million in gas, and want to thank them by helping to fill up their tanks. We encourage all of our customers to sign up for the SmartPay mobile app to save money on every gallon of fuel and receive the rewards that come with the program.”

Cumberland Farms currently owns and operates almost 50 stores throughout the state of Florida, and is continuing to transform its stores by bringing a new look and feel to all of its nearly 600 retail locations. The multiyear remodeling initiative, which began in 2009, incorporates a bright, open design, new food items like pizza, roller grill items, and hot sandwiches, as well as upgrades like additional square footage, high-top bar counters, outdoor patio seating, and an increased number of parking spaces and gas pumps.
