The Concord, N.C., site marks an "exciting milestone" in the chain's growth efforts, according to a statement from Dash In.

Dash In has reached a new milestone in its expansion plans with the opening of its inaugural North Carolina store. The site, located in Concord, features the chain’s signature made-to-order foodservice program and a modern, state-of-the-art store design.

“Whether you’re fueling up for the morning commute, grabbing a made-to-order meal or stopping in for your favorite snack, we’re here to make every visit easy, convenient and enjoyable,” according to a LinkedIn post from Dash In. “At Dash In, we believe great convenience starts with making people feel welcome. From the moment you walk through our doors, our goal is simple: to create a place where you’re good here. We’re proud to join the Concord and Kannapolis communities and look forward to building lasting connections with our neighbors, customers and local organizations for years to come.”

Dash In Senior Director of Retail Operations Brian Chase noted that the move took “tremendous teamwork, planning and execution.”

“It’s rewarding to see the vision come to life,” he stated via LinkedIn. “As we continue to grow, our focus remains on delivering a consistent customer experience, building strong community connections and creating a place where customers feel welcome every time they visit. Congratulations to everyone who helped make this opening possible. I’m excited to see the impact we’ll have in Concord and the surrounding communities for years to come.”

Dashing to New Markets

Dash In’s move to North Carolina comes during a period of growth for the chain. In mid-April, the company announced the opening of its newest location in Maryland, situated in La Plata.

The site was met with a $20,000 donation to local organizations, in addition to a two-day event featuring Dash In’s signature “First Cut” ceremony, complimentary food tastings from its menu, live music, giveaways and opportunities for guests to enroll in Dash In Rewards.

Dash In honored four local organizations with each receiving $5,000:

  • Southern Maryland Food Bank
  • La Plata High School
  • La Plata Volunteer Fire Department
  • Port Tobacco River Conservancy

As the chain continues to expand, it is not losing sight of its core beliefs and goals. As a result of its commitment to its workforce, the company was honored in September 2025 with a spot on Fortune’s 100 Best Workplaces in Retail, ranking No. 9 on the list. This marked the third consecutive year Dash In has earned a spot on the list.

“Being named a Fortune Best Workplace for a third year is a proud achievement that is a reflection of the everyday dedication of our team,” said Blackie Wills at the time, president and CEO of Wills Group, parent company of Dash In. “Our commitment to our team members is foundational to the Dash In guest experience. By fostering a culture where every team member can thrive, we deliver outstanding experiences to our guests and the communities we serve.”

Dash In currently serves customers at more than 60 locations throughout Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and now North Carolina.
