Dunkin’ Donuts has launched the national release of its new mobile ordering platform.

A new report from Nation’s Restaurant News revealed that, on June 6, Dunkin’ Donuts introduced its new mobile app that allows customers to order and pay ahead of time, allowing them to skip the lines in-store, offering a convenient new option for on-the-go customers.

Prior to the app’s nation-wide debut, the Dunkin’ Donuts On-The-Go app was tested in Maine, Boston and the New York metropolitan area over the past several months, according to Nation’s Restaurant News.

The launch of the mobile ordering platform keeps Dunkin’ Donuts in line with breakfast competition, such as Star Bucks and Taco Bell, who have already launched order and pay-ahead options across the country.

Nation’s Restaurant News also reported that Dunkin’ Donuts has plans to test curbside delivery in non-drive-thru locations, later this year. Dunkin’ Donuts is also already testing delivery services in partnership with DoorDash.
