EG America has announced the appointment of Whitney Johnson as its new senior vice president of marketing. In her new role, she will continue to lead loyalty, digital commerce, advertising and social media for the company, as well as its tobacco business, guest services and other support functions.

Since joining the company in June 2024, Johnson has led the transformation of the loyalty program and go to market strategies and developed short and long-term growth strategies for loyalty, digital commerce, retail media and third-party delivery. She has also established key external partnerships, created new revenue streams, and recruited and hired top talent to support the rapid growth of her team.

Prior to joining EG America, Whitney founded Capstone Growth Advisors, a consulting firm focused on consumer-packaged goods (CPG), e-commerce and retail sectors. Before that she led grocery merchandising and category management for GoBrands, Inc. and held senior roles in merchandising strategy, loyalty and category management at Murphy Oil and Sunoco.

EG America owns and operates more than 1,600 convenience stores and fuel retailers in the U.S.  The company operates 10 banners in 31 states: Cumberland Farms, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Kwik Shop, Loaf N’ Jug, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Sprint, Tom Thumb and Turkey Hill.
