Savannah, Ga.-based Enmarket has opened its first location in Dublin, Ga. This is the second newly constructed store of 2024, bringing the total number of Enmarket convenience stores to 132.
“We’re incredibly proud to expand our presence and serve the residents and visitors of Dublin, Ga.,” said Enmarket President Matt Clements. “With our exceptional food and beverage options, convenient outdoor seating and best-in-class car wash, we’re excited to offer our customers a quality experience. As we celebrate our 60th year in convenience, we remain dedicated to enriching the lives of our customers and employees.”
The new site is a 5,178-square-foot modern convenience store featuring 16 fuel pumps, an in-bay car wash and Enmarket’s proprietary food brand, The Eatery. It has a Southern-inspired menu that expands to include fresh, healthy and on-the-go, quality offerings.
This location will also include a customer favorite, Mooz Frozen Yogurt. The beverage bar features fresh, high-quality bean-to-cup coffee, sweet tea and dozens of fountain and frozen beverage options.
A new Marketwash, Enmarket’s in-bay carwash brand, will offer customers multiple car wash package options. Using the Marketwash mobile app, customers can purchase single washes or participate in a monthly unlimited subscription service.
Customers can also join the Enjoy Rewards program to save on Enmarket offerings in-stores.
While the store opened on June 28, grand opening activities are planned for a later date.
Growing Within The Community
The first Enmarket to open this year — the chain’s 131st site — is located in Savannah, Ga., which is an existing market for the retailer and home of its headquarters. The grand opening ceremony took place on April 18 and brought in many members of the community, in addition to vendor partners like Coke, Pepsi, Gatorade, Frito-Lay, Red Bull, Prime Hydration and Alani Nu, which shared free products at the ceremony.
This site differs from others and exemplifies the chain’s commitment to its hometown and community, as Enmarket has taken the responsibility of preserving a 300-year-old live oak tree located on the property.
Collaborating with Bartlett Tree Services, Enmarket implemented various conservation techniques to safeguard the natural treasure. The majestic Savannah Live Oak now serves as a focal point, offering outdoor seating beneath its sprawling canopy.
Enmarket became the brand it is today in 2015 when it got its name. Its focus had slowly transformed from fuel and tobacco to fresh food, snacks and beverages throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Parent company Colonial Group has a 100-plus year history, and it’s continually upgrading it c-store brand. Recently, with its new Marketwash mobile app, Enmarket launched a monthly subscription car wash program.
Enmarket employs more than 1,300 people and operates 131 convenience stores that include 30 Eatery locations in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. The company also operates 13 restaurants branded as Subway, Larry’s Giant Subs, Baldino’s and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, as well as 26 Marketwash car washes. The company was founded as Interstate Stations by Robert Demere in 1964. In 2024 Enmarket is celebrating 60 years in business.
