For the ninth year the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program has provided grants to local schools across the nation, this year donating $2 million in grants to 4,000 students in 43 states.

The students, grades kindergarten through 12th, will each receive a $500 grant to enhance their work in math and science programs.

“ExxonMobil and our branded retailers have a long history of supporting local neighborhood schools and consider it a privilege to invest our time and resources in the communities where we do business,” said Ben Soraci, U.S. retail sales director for ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing.

Since 2000, the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program has contributed more than $17 million to local schools through its Exxon and Mobil retailers.
