Starting Nov. 1, FedEx plans to distribute $1 million in gift cards to be used at small businesses on Small Business Saturday.
The free gift cards – each worth $25 – will be distributed through www.facebook.com/FedEx starting at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 1, first come, first serve.
The Shop Small-branded American Express cards are designed to support Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to driving shoppers to local, independently-owned merchants. Small Business Saturday falls on Nov. 26, the day after Black Friday.
In addition to the gift card giveaway, FedEx Office has announced a special 20% savings on all Small Business Saturday materials that can be printed via FedEx Office Print Online. The offer extends to all online print orders through Nov. 26, giving small business owners even more savings as they prepare for the busy holiday season.
