First Niagara Financial Group is branding 95 automated teller machines at Sheetz stores in western Pennsylvania starting next month, according to Pittsburghlive.com.

Customers will be glad to learn the new ATMs at Sheetz will not have surcharges, according to First Niagara, which is based in Buffalo, N.Y. and operates 113 branches and 136 cash machines through Upstate New York. The cash machines will feature the bank’s logo, and will be located in stores from the Pittsburgh area, north to Erie.

First Niagara is acquiring 57 National City branches and 69 ATMs from PNC Financial Services Group, which is divesting them as part of its merger. The offices are expected to convert to First Niagara over Labor Day weekend.

“We feel by branding these ATMs, First Niagara will provide a wonderful convenience for current and prospective customers in Western Pennsylvania,” said J. Lanier Little,  executive vice president of First Niagara.

First Niagara also is acquiring Harleysville National Corp., which will add 83 branches in eastern Pennsylvania.
