Customers with flex-fuel vehicles fill up on environmentally friendly fuel for a good price.
Thorntons’ store at 2291 Elkhorn Drive in Lexington, Ky., is offering e85 Flex-Fuel at 85 cents per gallon from 10 a.m. to noon today, Friday July 22.
Thorntons team members intend to be on-site with e85 Flex Fuel informational handouts, and to give out $5 Thorntons gift cards to any Flex-Fuel vehicle drivers. Customers with flex-fuel vehicles can fuel up for less with this environmentally-friendly fuel— up to 30 gallons during the 85 cents per gallon promotion.
This e85 Flex Fuel promotion is in conjunction with the I-75 Clean Fuels Corridor Project. The goal of the project is to add e85 and b20 pumps all along I-75, making it the longest alternative fuels corridor in the U.S.

Thorntons currently operates more than 160 sites, of which 36 locations offer e85 Flex Fuel: 11 in Kentucky, 11 in Indiana, seven in Illinois and seven in Tennessee.
