“Reopening our second location in University Park is a significant milestone for us. It’s not just about expanding, but about deepening our connection with a community that has supported us from the beginning,” said Taylor Bloom, Foxtrot Co-Founder and Dallas native. “This new store allows us to continue providing quality coffee, fresh food and local products, while staying true to our mission of creating spaces where people can gather and enjoy something unique.”
Foxtrot’s Comeback
Foxtrot has been busy since its unexpected closure in April 2024. In June of that year, just two months after it had shuttered all previous locations, the retailer announced that it would begin reopening sites in Chicago, starting with the Gold Coast and Old Town neighborhoods.
The plan came to fruition in September, with the first new Foxtrot making its way back onto the market in the Gold Coast.
Not only was the store reopened, but it also was revamped with a new food and beverage menu.
“Our new coffee and food menus are a true reflection of Foxtrot’s founding principle: taking the ingredients we’re passionate about, partnering with the best purveyors and making them a special part of our day — and yours — every day,” said Foxtrot Chairman Mike LaVitola.
The retailer then followed up with two more reopened stores in September and November, both located in Chicago, before reopening its first Dallas location at the end of 2024.
Now, the retailer operates two stores in Dallas and five in Chicago.
