GasBuddy’s new report, ‘The State of Gas Station Restrooms’ revealed the top-rated gas station restrooms in each state.
Overall, the study found that gas station restrooms are getting cleaner year-over-year, which is great news, considering more than two-thirds (69.17%) of consumers said they would be influenced to visit a retailer who promotes a commitment to clean, quality restrooms.
According to GasBuddy ratings and reviews, Texas-based Buc-ee’s received the highest gas station restroom ratings in the U.S., followed by HyVee, Kwik Trip, Weigel’s and Twice Daily.
According to the report, restroom cleanliness ratings have improved 6% since 2017, with Utah-based Maverik claiming the top spot in six states — the most of any brand. Wawa and QuikTrip tied in second, leading in six states, followed by Irving, Kwik Trip, Sheetz, and Sinclair, each topping the list in three states. The state with the highest gas station restroom ratings overall is Nebraska.
