The new technology was deployed at a Chevron location in Loganville, Ga.

A Chevron location in Loganville, Ga., owned by Nabeel Group of Companies, recently debuted the first-ever Wayne PWR DC Fast Charger, which was launched by Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) and SPATCO.

Nabeel Memon, CEO of Nabeel Group of Companies, noted that the decision to implement the EV charger was based on meeting evolving consumer demands and enhancing the overall customer experience.

“With the growing number of EV drivers, adding a reliable charging option like the Wayne PWR DC fast charger was an opportunity to diversify our offerings and attract a new customer demographic,” said Memon.

Memon also mentioned that the addition of the fast charger allows them to cater to a broader customer base, such as EV customers who may not have otherwise visited the location. He expects the move will “increase overall foot traffic, drive sales inside the store and position (them) as a forward-thinking, customer-focused business in Loganville, Ga.”

Designed and manufactured in Austin, Texas for the U.S. market, Wayne PWR is National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) compliant and built to the highest standard of quality. The EVC is backed by DFS’s nationwide Wayne approved partner service network, offering remote diagnostics, proactive monitoring and heartbeat checks to ensure maximum uptime and quick maintenance.

According to Memon, the installation process took about four weeks, including site preparation, ensuring compliance with local regulations, electrical infrastructure upgrades such as installing a new transformer and final setup and testing of the charger to ensure a seamless integration.

“The installation of the Wayne PWR DC fast charger at our Loganville store is more than just an infrastructure upgrade — it’s a reflection of our commitment to providing reliable and innovative solutions for EV drivers,” mentioned Memon. “We partnered with SPATCO and Dover Fueling Solutions to install Wayne PWR because it sets a new standard in durability and customer support, backed by remote diagnostics and proactive monitoring to minimize downtime. Prioritizing advanced features such as real-time monitoring, secure payment options and plans for future loyalty program integration, this installation reflects our dedication to enhancing both our operations and the consumer experience.”

While the company does not have immediate plans to add more EV technology, Memon stated that they are “continuously exploring opportunities to enhance (their) offerings, leveraging customer feedback, emerging technologies and market trends to remain competitive.”
