Global Partners has unveiled its latest electric vehicle (EV) public charging locations in New Hampshire. Three EV chargers are now available at the Jiffy Mart on Main Street in Lancaster, and another three are at the Alltown Market on Grove Street in Peterborough, offering convenient charging options for EV owners. These additions enhance the diverse fueling options at Global’s fueling stations and convenience markets and represent the third and fourth company-owned EV fast-charging station, following successful launches in Worcester, Mass., and Fort Edward, N.Y.
“We’re committed to providing best-in-class fueling options for all of our guests, both today and tomorrow, and we are thrilled to bring this technology to Lancaster and Peterborough,” said James Cater, Global Partners senior director of sustainability strategy and innovation. “These public, fast-charging stations are not only a convenient solution for electric vehicle owners, but they also promote sustainable transportation options.”
Global is committed to enhancing EV charging accessibility across multiple states. In addition to the four company-owned EV sites it currently operates, Global plans to expand its network by adding more locations by the end of the year. This expansion will support green initiatives and promote a more sustainable future.
Global was awarded almost half of one million dollars in funding through the New Hampshire Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust DCFC Infrastructure program. This program, run by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, provided the financing to offset up to 80% of the cost affiliated with installing the charging stations.
