GPM Investments LLC has selected Transaction Network Services to provide its FusionPoint solution for a total of 194 Fas Mart and Shore Stop convenience stores across the mid-Atlantic region.

Headquartered near Richmond, Va., GMP has 205 corporately owned stores and 145 independent dealers in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Tennessee, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

FusionPoint is an end-to-end managed service offered by TNS. It streamlines in-store networking and enables data from diverse store applications to flow through a single high-speed broadband connection to a variety of endpoints.

GPM Vice President of Information Technology Barry Khrosrophanah said FusionPoint fits his company’s needs “because it allows our stores to run multiple applications through one secure connection.

“The main benefit for our stores is the faster transaction processing times we are able to get through the broadband connection as opposed to a dial-up connection,” Khrosrophanah said, “allowing business to run quickly and smoothly.”

FusionPoint allows Fas Mart and Shore Stop to not only simplify store communications but can rely on the security and performance of the TNS PCI-DSS certified network and 24x7x365 helpdesk services with live real-time support, the companies said. TNS provides the network components and communications hardware essential for the application.

“We are pleased to have GPM Investments sign on for several more years of service,” said Alan Schwartz, executive vice president of North America Sales at TNS. “This reinforces that they have been happy with the quality of service TNS has provided over the years. GPM Investments is a valued customer and I look forward to watching this relationship grow in years to come. ”
