Mid Pac Petroleum VP makes news for neighborhood light display.

In the Waikele neighborhood on the Hawaiian island of Oahu, Keith Yoshida, vice president, business development for Mid Pac Petroleum LLC, is making news for the neighborhood light show he organized.

“This year we expanded the light show to include eight of our neighbors so now there are nine houses (including ours) all synchronized to music,” he said. The entire light show runs an hour then repeats and will be on from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and from 6 p.m. to 11p.m. Friday–Saturday. Every night from now until Jan. 6, 2015, Yoshida and his neighbors plan to put on four different light shows.

Audiences gather in the street and watch the light displays on the neighborhood houses dance to 14 different holiday songs. “We started a donation box, and every year the money that is donated is used to purchase toys, gift baskets and food for the Next Step Homeless Shelter,” Yoshida told the Huffington Post.
