James McDowell’s experience includes his time as president of Jackson Warewashing Systems and his foodservice market leadership.

Hoshizaki America Inc. announced the appointment of James McDowell as company president.

McDowell served as president of Jackson Warewashing Systems since 2006. His leadership increased sales revenue and profitability while maintaining strong policy and regulatory compliance.

His experience in the foodservice industry with companies including Manitowoc and Enodis, along with his strong performance within the Hoshizaki Group Companies, demonstrates attributes the company said are critical to its growth strategies.

Hoshizaki designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of products for the foodservice industry including ice machines, refrigerators, freezers, prep tables, display cases and dispensers.

Based in Peachtree City, Georgia, with a second manufacturing facility in Griffin, Georgia, Hoshizaki employs more than 700 people.

The company received the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence award multiple years in a row for its leadership in protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements.
