Rutter'sCentral Penn Business Journal recognizes Rutter’s in 2016 list.

Rutter’s has once again earned the No. 3 rank on the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2016 list of Top 100 Private Companies in central Pennsylvania.

Every year since 2005, the York, PA-based retailer has ranked in the top ten 100 Private Companies in Central Pennsylvania according to the Central Penn Business Journal.

“We continue to grow our business through new store openings, food service innovation and technology enhancements. In the last two months we opened two new stores, launched a new signature line of Ultimate Chicken sandwiches along with funnel cake fries; combining that with the ability for our VIP customers to go card less at our stores, are a few ways we stay committed to meeting changing demands of our customers. Innovation and execution is what drives us,” said Derek Gaskins, Rutter’s chief customer officer.

With roots dating back to 1747, Rutter’s 269 year history makes it the oldest vertically-integrated food company in the United States. Rutter’s is widely recognized as an industry leader in food service, innovative technology and customer service and is guided by the family’s 3rd generation of leadership with Scott Hartman president and CEO, Todd Rutter as president of Rutter’s Dairy and Tim Rutter as president of M&G Realty.
