Huck’s Convenience Stores, through corporate and store level fundraising, collected and distributed $195,463 to help kids in its 102 local markets have a great Christmas.  

Huck’s “Karing for Kids” program is now in its 6th year of making a difference in r local communities with the simple of idea of providing children whose circumstances would have prevented them from celebrating a traditional Christmas the opportunity to go Christmas shopping for themselves and their family.

Huck’s stores, its corporate office and distribution center administer the program on a local basis to help ensure that the funds are used wisely to assist families in its markets. Fundraising is conducted through corporate sponsorships, rummage and bake sales and many other innovative types of fundraisers at the store level.

“We are excited at the support that our vendors, customers and associates have shown once again to “Karing for Kids,” said Huck’s CEO, Todd Jenney. “We are not only able to help kids have a better Christmas, but also have the funds for a scholarship program and to conduct other philanthropic activities during the year.  This program is our way of including as many people as possible in the extended Huck’s family.”
