Winners of Richard Childress Racing Fan Experience Sweepstakes head to race in Charlotte, N.C., RCR Museum and more.
Hunt Brothers Pizza is thrilled to send Michael Barham of Shaker Heights, Ohio, on the ultimate race lover’s dream vacation.
As the grand prize winner of the Richard Childress Racing Fan Experience Sweepstakes, Barham has won a VIP race experience to Charlotte, N.C. in October—along with a tour of the Richard Childress Racing race shop and museum, and more.
Hunt Brothers Pizza, Richard Childress Racing partner and primary sponsor of Ty Dillon and Kevin Harvick in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, hosted the sweepstakes that ran from April through June of this year to celebrate its seventh-consecutive season as a sponsor of America’s premier stock car racing series. The four-night trip also includes a meet-and-greet with a Richard Childress Racing driver.
“I’m absolutely ecstatic,” said Barham. “I’m definitely looking forward to the tours, the races, the whole trip. It’s going to be a thrill. I’m just glad to be a winner, and I’m so thankful to Hunt Brothers Pizza for the opportunity.”
Barham plans to travel to Charlotte with his girlfriend and tour the area, including Richard Childress’ local vineyard. Then he’ll meet up with his son, who currently resides in Charlotte and is a sophomore at Davidson College and 6-foot 4-inch shooting guard for the men’s basketball team. The two of them together will take advantage of the racing side of the dream vacation for some father-son bonding.
With more than 85,000 entries from hungry Hunt Brothers Pizza fans throughout the U.S., the company calls the sweepstakes a huge success. “We design these sweepstakes to keep Hunt Brothers Pizza top of mind for race fans when they’re hungry for pizza,” said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing for Hunt Brothers Pizza. “By keeping consumers excited and engaged, we’re driving traffic to our c-store partners. The racing vacation package was the grand prize of more than $15,000 in prizes given away by Hunt Brothers Pizza as part of the Richard Childress Racing Fan Experience Sweepstakes.
