More than 1,000 guests attended thegrand opening event.

The Kent Companies announced the recent opening of a new Kent Kwik Travel Center and Rustic Cafe in Haskell, Texas.

The facility features a 26-pump gas island, a 14-pump diesel island, a wide variety of food and beverage options, a game room, a truckers lounge with tvs, showers, laundry and a full-service Rustic Cafe.

The Haskell Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for both Kent Kwik and Rustic Cafe.

More than 1,000 guests attended the grand opening event, at which Kent gave away coffee mugs, water bottles, store coupons and raffled off prizes including a $50 gas cards and a cooler.

After the ribbon cutting, the company donated $5,000 to the Haskell Fire Department. Haskell Fire Chief Casey Moeller said the donation will go toward replacing fire equipment.

This is the 47th Kent Kwik location and the third Rustic Cafe.
