Shaw’s Supermarkets and Irving Oil have revealed even more savings to be had by the 7,500 Shaw’s Reward’s customers. The two companied have launched an expanded month-long partnership that will provide gasoline discounts with every Shaw’s purchase.
The program involves 57 Shaw’s supermarkets and more than 140 Irving locations in Maine and New Hampshire.
Rewards customers can expect discounts from 10 to 60 cents off per gallon for every qualified $50-$300 Shaw’s purchase through Oct. 4. Irving will honor customers’ Shaw’s coupons through Oct. 18.
“Everyone buys groceries and everyone buys gasoline. It’s a natural partnership to help New Hampshire and Maine shoppers with their family budgets,” says Shaw’s President Carl Jablonski. The expanded program is the result of a successful pilot program at three Shaw’s and six Irving Oil locations in New Hampshire.
The rewards program works by rewarding each purchase of $50 or higher with a Catalina Coupon valued at 10 cents per gallon, redeemable at an Irving location. Customers present their Shaw’s Rewards Card and Catalina coupon(s) at Irving to receive the gas discounts, up to 20 gallons per visit. For a purchase of $100 or more customers save 20 cents per gallon and the savings grow up to a $300 purchase, which results in a savings of 60 cents per gallon.
