As Irving Oil expands across the Northeast, it continues to seek partnerships with local retail operators.

The recently opened a new Irving Oil service station at 978 Broad Street in Meriden, Conn., expanding the regional brand to the community.

“We have always admired the Irving brand,” said Omar Hamideh. “We knew that if we ever opened our own convenience store we wanted to hang the Irving flag. After months of construction and a lot of hard work, we are excited to be open and ready to serve the community.”

With more than 800 fueling locations in New England and Atlantic Canada, Irving Oil, based just north of Maine in Atlantic Canada, is an energy refiner and marketer currently growing across the Northeast. The Irving Prime Mart on Broad Street offers complete convenience store amenities including a full deli and expansive grocery selection at competitive prices.

We are confident that the Hamideh family will provide exactly that,” said Harry Hadiaris, general manager of Irving Oil Marketing. “We’re very pleased to continue to expand the Irving name in Connecticut.”

The new Irving Oil station on 978 Broad Street is open for business. A grand opening celebration to welcome new customers is expected in the spring.
