Johnsonville has added a new digital merchandiser, with a modern digital screen that displays menu items, builds suggestions, topping ideas, special promotions, flavor descriptions, photos and nutritional information.

The digital merchandiser is hassle-free for operators to use, coming preloaded with content for core roller grill flavors that retailers can use to leverage the Johnsonville name. The system also comes with a flashdrive containing additional content in order to make customization easy.

Backed by consumer research, Johnsonville’s new digital merchandiser is proven to outperform traditional static merchandisers in attracting customers’ attention.

Focus groups have shown that consumers prefer the digital merchandiser’s dynamic video screen and enjoy its contemporary design reminiscent of backyard grilling.

“Our new digital merchandiser brings upscale appeal to operations as part of Johnsonville’s commitment to helping operators create a high-quality experience that keeps current customers satisfied and attracts new ones every day,” said Craig Yoder, Johnsonville’s Senior Associate Brand Manager. “With merchandising units designed to easily fit most existing roller grill units, operations of any scale will benefit from this tool that expects to boost both roller grill profitability and sales volume.”

The new digital merchandiser rotates through preloaded content that keeps customers engaged with photography and descriptions.

Made from durable materials built to last, the merchandiser also features a sleek glass canopy-style sneeze guard, a tong receptacle at eye level and a chip rack that makes upselling simple. Branded Flavor ID tag options are available for both rail and individual tags.

Known and trusted in 40 countries around the world, Johnsonville collaborates with its customers to develop new menu ideas that entice and satisfy today’s increasingly sophisticated foodservice patrons. Founded in 1945 by the late Ralph F. and Alice Stayer, Johnsonville continues the tradition of legendary flavor with their family recipes. The company remains privately owned today.
